Biography
Douglas Gattini was born in Chile. Son of a naturopath and a pianist, he takes his parents love for music and for the holistic health disciplines. He has studied guitar since the age of 16 . His first band was the one of his district called "Impacto 4". His interest in the study of theater goes hand in hand with his first engineering university studies at the Catholic University of Valparaiso and, later on, at the Milan Polytechnic.
He moved to Italy (Milan) at the age of 20 and there he improved his guitar abilities and his interest in Yoga and Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi Maesh Yogi, the guru of the Beatles. While never abandoning his Christian roots, he is also interested in Oriental philosophies, particularly in Taoism and traditional Chinese Medicine.
He has always been a staunch environmentalist, pacifist and civil rights supporter. Speaker of natural medicines as a source of self-perception and self-education in health and evolution from an holistic point of view.
His interest in music led him - as a young man - to do research on Latin American ethnic music that combines with European folk, especially the English one.
